What is the weather like

We up here in the winterless north have had a true autumn day complete with torrential rain and beautiful sunshine, they say up here if you dont like the weather wait 5mins...... LOL

What do you all like to do when the weather turns, my MIL is going to have the boys tomorrow for the day and I think I might snuggle up with a DVD and catch up on some scrapping.......

well here in Puke we're had rain, showers and wind to go with it! No sun here today!

On days like this during the holidays I like to lock the kids in a cupboard and go scrap. Actually that should read I like to lock myself in a cupboard and scrap

Wellington yesterday was cold and wet. Today the sun is shining and still quite cool. Today a friend is coming: she will sort photos and I will sort my dad's hundreds of slides

The weather here is gorgeous today. Didn't start off at that though, we had a 1 degree frost, but now it is a cloudless and windless day and is 19.8 degrees outside. Just beautiful

Ruth - I totally agree about locking yourself in the cupboard, some days i wish I could to hee hee instead I settled for a couple of new CK mags and a nice hot bath once everyone small was asleep

Tolittletime - OMG what are you working on? 100's of slides, that is a chore I do not envy you

Slides - my dad was an avid slide taker ... mostly of steam engines. We estimated that there were around 8000 slides of which I have 600 left to sort. What a job as I had to look at each one and decide whther I should keep it or not. I have ended up with about 700 which I will have put onto DVD to see whether it is worthwhile printing any of them. And very few had an labels either. I have put a couple of photos on my blog

It's cold - we've had a few mild frosts, which mean lovely sunny days, but that air temp is soooo much cooler!
